While KYC may not be required for smaller withdrawals, Tegem may request verification for larger amounts or if any suspicious activity is detected. KYC serves two main purposes: confirming your identity and preventing money laundering.

Required documents: a clear photo of your National ID (NID) or passport (front and back), plus a selfie. Once submitted, verification is typically completed within 24–48 hours. Withdrawals may be temporarily on hold while KYC is pending, but your balance remains unaffected. To submit documents, go to Profile → Verification or send them through Support.

If you still have access to your old number, it's straightforward — go to Profile → Personal Info → Change Phone Number, add your new number, and confirm with an OTP.

If you no longer have access to your old number, there are a few extra steps involved — this is for your security, to prevent anyone from changing another person's number without authorization. In that case, please email our support team at support@tegem.click. Include your account name, old phone number, and a photo of your NID. Once verified, the support team will help set up your new number. The entire process typically takes within 24 hours.
